  Abidin, 54 years old,coms from Saudi Arabic and he is a uremia patient. In 2008, he began to appear the symptom of swelling in body, then he went to see a doctor.
  The test reports showed that his proteinuria is 3+, occult blood 1+, and serum creatinine 124 umol/L. He took some medicines to reduce the swelling and proteinuria.But the serum creatinine level is still increased. Until 2010, his serum creatinine level was increased into 200, and the blood pressure was 180/100 mmHg.In August, 2014, his creatinine level was as high as 900 umol/L (already in uremia), and the doctor recommended him to take kidney transplant.He didn't want to have transplant ,so he came to our hospital to receive the Chinese medicine treatment.Doctor made a systemic treatment plan for him, basesing on his own illness condition. And the treatment include Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy , Foot Bath Therapy, Oral Chinese Medicine Therapy ,Maikang Mixture, etc. And the doctor will change the treatment with the changes of the illness condition of the patient.Through several days treatment, his creatinine level was reduced, and Hkalid was so happy to see the improvement of his disease. And he is very interested with the Foot Bath Therapy and Osmotherapy, which made him very comfortable. We all believe his disease will be better and better with the Chinese medicine treatment.

After The Transplant

   After dealing with the effects of long-term illness, you may feel euphoric when you awake after surgery to find those symptoms gone.The first months after transplant are important to the healing process. Before you leave the hospital, you and your family will need to prepare your home (or the place where you will stay) and plan for your caregiving needs.You should follow these:
   (1)Be seen by your transplant team on a regular basis and follow their advice.
   (2)Take your anti-rejection medications daily in the proper dose and at the right times, as directed by the transplant team, to keep your body from rejecting your new kidney.Rejection is the most common and important complication that may occur after receiving a transplant. Since you were not born with your transplanted kidney, your body will think this new tissue is “foreign” and will try to protect you by “attacking” it. Rejection is a normal response from your body after any transplant surgery. So you must take anti-rejection medicine exactly as prescribed to prevent rejection.
   (3)Follow the recommended schedule for lab tests and clinic visits to make sure that your kidney is working properly.
   (4)Follow a healthy lifestyle including proper diet, exercise, and weight loss if needed.
   Anti-rejection (immunosuppressant) medications have a number of possible side-effects which are usually manageable for most patients. Blood levels of anti-rejection medications will be checked regularly to prevent rejection and lessen side-effects. If side-effects do occur, your doctor may change the dose or type of medications. There are 3 groups of anti-rejection (immunosuppressant) medications:
    (1)Induction agent – Powerful anti-rejection medication used before the transplant in the operating room, or immediately after the transplant surgery.
    (2)Maintenance agents – Anti-rejection medications you will take daily for as long as you have your transplanted kidney.
    (3)Rejection agents: Medications which are used for the treatment for rejection episodes.

Stem Cell Therapy

   Stem Cell Therapy is one of the methods that have the potential to cure kidney diseases. As we know, the exact reasons of many kidney diseases are still unknown, let alone the cures for these diseases. Stem Cell Therapy is good news to many kidney disease patients. This article will give a brief introduction of this effective treatment.

How does Stem Cell Therapy work to treat kidney disease?

 When these stem cells get into patients’ body, their kidneys will release cytokines to draw them to kidney. Then these stem calls will produce large quantity of daughter cells and these daughter cells will differentiate into all kinds of renal cells that are needed, such as renal tissues cells and renal blood vessel cells. If the microcirculation of kidney gets improved, the blood pressure of glomeruli will get lower. The relief of ischemia in kidney will contribute to the improvement of whole blood circulation. Simultaneously, the increase of EPO can alleviate the anemia condition of patients. Alone with enhancing of immunity, the excess immunoreactions will decrease, adjusting the immune system to work normally. The kidney lesion can be restored.

DIALYSIS

  Dialysis is a treatment that does some of the things done by healthy kidneys. It is needed when your own kidneys can no longer take care of your body's needs.
   You need dialysis when you develop end stage kidney failure --usually by the time you lose about 85 to 90 percent of your kidney function and have a GFR of <15.
    When your kidneys fail, dialysis keeps your body in balance by:
 (1) removing waste, salt and extra water to prevent them from building up in the body
 (2) keeping a safe level of certain chemicals in your blood, such as potassium, sodium and bicarbonate
 (3) helping to control blood pressure
Usually, but not always. Some kinds of acute kidney failure get better after treatment. In some cases of acute kidney failure, dialysis may only be needed for a short time until the kidneys get better.
     In chronic or end stage kidney failure, your kidneys do not get better and you will need dialysis for the rest of your life. If your doctor says you are a candidate, you may choose to be placed on a waiting list for a new kidney.

What Is Type 2 Diabetes?

Type 2 diabetes can affect all people, regardless of age. Early symptoms of type 2 diabetes may be missed, so those affected may not even know they have the condition. An estimated one out of every three people with type 2 diabetes are not aware they have it. Diabetes interferes with the body's ability to metabolize carbohydrates for energy, leading to high levels of blood sugar. These chronically high blood sugar levels increase a person's risk of developing nerve problems, vision loss, cardiovascular disease, and other conditions.

Warning Sign of Diabetes: Thirst,Headaches,Infections,Sexual Dysfunction.
   Although people with type 2 diabetes may not have specific symptoms, an increase in thirst is one symptom that is characteristic of the condition. The increased thirst can accompany other symptoms like frequent urination, feelings of unusual hunger, dry mouth, and weight gain or loss.Other symptoms that can occur if high blood sugar levels persist are fatigue, blurred vision, and headaches.Often, type 2 diabetes is only identified after its negative health consequences are apparent. Certain infections and sores that take a long time to heal are a warning sign. Other possible signs include frequent yeast infections or urinary tract infections and itchy skin.
   Sexual problems can occur as a result of type 2 diabetes. Since diabetes can damage the blood vessels and nerves in the sex organs, decreased sensation can develop, potentially leading to difficulties with orgasm. Vaginal dryness in women and impotence in men are other complications of diabetes. Estimates suggest that between 35% and 70% of men with diabetes will eventually suffer from impotence. Statistics for women show that about one-third of women with diabetes will have some kind of sexual dysfunction.
   These are the symbol of diabete,we should draw high attention.Have any problem,plz contact by email: annadoctor.kidney@gmail.com

   Take medications targeted high creatinine levels;
Steps 5:Considering Medical Therapies.
   Address and treat the underlying problem;
   Use massage;
   Learn about blood purification therapy;
   Consider alternative medicine;
   Consider dialysis as a final option;
Steps 6:Understanding Creatinine.
   Know what creatinine is;
   Understand how the test works;
   Interpret your results;
   Understand why increased creatinine levels occur;
Always consult a doctor before deciding on a course of treatment. Every individual has different health needs, so these guidelines may not work for everyone. Some could even cause a decline in overall health depending on your own specific circumstances.

What is Blood Creatinine ?

creatinine-blood-test-illustration

Creatinine is a chemical waste molecule that is generated from muscle metabolism. Creatinine is produced from creatine, a molecule of major importance for energy production in muscles. Approximately 2% of the body's creatine is converted to creatinine every day. Creatinine is transported through the bloodstream to the kidneys. The kidneys filter out most of the creatinine and dispose of it in the urine.

   Because the muscle mass in the body is relatively constant from day to day, the creatinine production normally remains essentially unchanged on a daily basis.
