How to Prevent Drug-induced Renal Injury
1 strictly follow medication indications, avoid drug abuse.
2 patients need to notice that whether they suffer hypotension or dehydration, if they suffer hypovolemia, it needs treatment for the disease in advance
3 choose medicines which hold efficient efficacy and would not lead to serious renal toxicity.
4 for some medicine, to make determination of concentrate, then decide the dose. Patients and doctors should discover clinical manifestation of drug poisoning as soon as possible and stop taking medicine
5 for renal insufficiency patients and kidney disease patients, they should pay attention to dose and dosing interval. Dose for patients with mild renal impairment should be 1/3to 3/2 of normal level. For Moderate renal impairment patients , their dose should be 1/10 to 1/5 of normal level.
6 avoid take two or more medicines which are harmful to kidney at the same time
7 to take active treatment to chronic and acute renal failure and complications which result from drug abuse, take dialysis if necessary.

8 people should not treat drug-induced Renal Injury lightly. While they also should not turn pale at the mere mention of drug-induced Renal Injury. Proper attitude is very important.
