What is PKD（Polycystic Kidney Disease）?
PKD derives its name by traditional diagnostic methods. (Traditional diagnostic methods is based on histology. Its diagnosis is made based on the kidney structure) At present, however, the front edge of pathogenesis theory and treatment theory of kidney disease has developed from histology to cytology.
As a result, the diagnosis of kidney disease has improved from clinical diagnosis to pathologic diagnosis. The scientific diagnosis of kidney disease becomes the analysis of damage condition of cells’ function.
In cytology point of view, people suffer genetic variability of renal tubular epithelial cell hyperplasia.
